International Tennis Hall of Fame Announces 2027 Additions to Executive Board and Board of Governors
New officers will begin terms in January on the Executive Board, with 13 new individuals joining the larger ITHF Board of Governors
The International Tennis Hall of Fame today announced key leadership transitions and new appointments to its Board of Governors and Executive Board, effective January 2027.
Current Vice Chair Russ Fradin will succeed Dan Swan as Chairman of the Board upon the conclusion of Swan’s term at the end of the year. Executive Board leadership will also include newly appointed officers Andrea Rice as Vice Chair, Joan Haffenreffer as Secretary, and Phillip Han as Treasurer, with Gigi Fernández reappointed as Hall of Famer Vice Chair. Joining them as new members of the Executive Board are Per Franzén, Lynn Serpico, Sheila Ohlsson Walker, and Kevin Warren.
The incoming slate introduces 13 new members to the Board of Governors, bringing deep expertise across diverse industries and a shared passion for tennis. The new appointees include two Hall of Famers: Tracy Austin, former world No. 1 and two-time US Open champion, and Bob Bryan, 23-time doubles major champion, Davis Cup champion and Olympic gold medalist.

NEWLY APPOINTED EXECUTIVE BOARD (incoming 2027)
Russ Fradin has been appointed as Chairman of the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 2027. A Wharton and Harvard Business School graduate, he built a distinguished executive career spanning McKinsey & Company, ADP, BISYS Group, Hewitt Associates, Aon Hewitt, and SunGard Data Systems, where he served as CEO of several of these organizations. He currently serves as an Operating Advisor to Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, is on the Boards of TransUnion and Alight, and is on the CEO Advisory Council of Workday.
Andrea Rice has been appointed as the Vice Chair of the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 2027. A Yale varsity tennis player with an MBA from Stanford, she built a career spanning equity research at Volpe Brown Whelan and Deutsche Bank before founding CareerCore and now serving as Managing Director at Management Leadership for Tomorrow. She currently sits on the boards of Bolster, the International Tennis Hall of Fame, and the Washington Tennis & Education Foundation.
Gigi Fernández has been re-appointed as the Hall of Famer Vice Chair of the International Tennis Hall of Fame. A professional from 1983, she won 17 Grand Slam doubles titles, two Olympic gold medals, and reached World No. 1 in doubles four times, later earning All-American honors at Clemson before completing her degree and MBA at Rollins College. Today she coaches doubles clinics nationwide, runs a bespoke tennis travel company, and founded Tennis for Hope after the 2024 Florida hurricanes, while living in Florida with her partner Jane Geddes and their twins.
Joan Haffenreffer has been appointed as the Secretary of the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 2027. A longtime Citi executive, she currently serves as Managing Director and Chief Administrative Officer in Enterprise Services & Public Affairs, overseeing financial management and governance while leading Citi's Corporate Philanthropy efforts and the ESPA Innovation Fund. Deeply committed to community engagement, she serves on the Executive Committee of the Women's Sports Foundation, Graham Windham, and previously served as President of the Women's Forum of New York from 2020-22.
Phillip Han has been appointed as the Treasurer of the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 2027. He currently serves as co-head of Americas Prime Financing and Global Head of the Systematic Client Franchise at Goldman Sachs, which he joined in 2008, rising to Managing Director in 2013 and partner in 2020, after earlier roles at Lehman Brothers and Wells Fargo. A graduate of Emory University's Goizueta Business School where he serves on the Goizueta Advisory Board. He also serves on the Board of Trustees for the Chapin School and the Board of Directors for the Managed Funds Association.
Per Franzén has been appointed to the Executive Board for 2027. He joined EQT Partners in Stockholm in May 2007 after six years at Morgan Stanley in London and Stockholm, and has since worked on investments including IFS, Automic, SSP, AcadeMedia, and Anticimex before being named CEO & Managing Partner of EQT in May 2025. He holds an M.Sc. in Economics and Business Administration from the Stockholm School of Economics and currently chairs the Equity Partners Investment Committee.
Lynn Serpico has been appointed to the Executive Board in 2027 and is an executive and board advisor with 35 years of experience in enterprise risk, client engagement, and global strategy, currently serving as a Marsh Client Partner at Marsh Inc., where she leads global teams managing the firm's largest and most complex client relationships. Previously, she spent 17 years at Aon in senior roles including Global Chief Client Experience Officer and Chief Client Officer, and earlier held positions at Marsh, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Chubb, and Travelers.
Sheila Ohlsson Walker has been appointed to the Executive Board in 2027. A lifelong competitive tennis player, she holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Ph.D. in Behavioral Genetics from King's College London. Her research interest in nature, nurture and human potential shaped her focus on translating and applying science to catalyze investment in sport for preventive health and positive youth development. She now advocates for young athletes and the adults who touch their lives by teaching, speaking, writing, and supporting organizations that advance high-quality, accessible sport experiences.
Kevin Warren has been appointed to the Executive Board in 2027. A purpose-driven board director and marketing/CX leader, he currently services on the board of directors for Assurant. Previously, he served as EVP and Chief Marketing & Customer Experience Officer at UPS from 2018 to 2023 following over three decades at Xerox, earning recognition on Forbes' 2022 World's Most Influential CMOs list and Adweek's 2023 Brand Genius. A graduate and former board member of Georgetown University, Kevin and his wife, Debbie, live between Atlanta and Washington, D.C.
BOARD OF GOVERNORS (incoming 2027)
Katrina Adams returns to the Board in 2027. A Northwestern standout who won 20 WTA doubles titles, she went on to serve an unprecedented two consecutive terms as USTA Chairman and President (2015-16, 2017-18) and today is the Executive Director of the Harlem Junior Tennis & Education Program. Beyond tennis, she's a published author, television commentator, and active board member across several private-sector organizations.
Tracy Austin been appointed to the Board in 2027. She made history as the youngest US Open singles champion at age 16, defeating Chris Evert in the final, and claimed her second US Open crown two years later against Martina Navratilova. Beyond her singles success, which included reaching World No. 1 and capturing 30 WTA titles, she also won the Wimbledon Mixed Doubles title alongside her brother John. Her extraordinary achievements led to her induction into the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 1992, after which she built a highly respected second career as a premier television commentator for the sport.
Bill Brown joins the Board in 2027. A seasoned tech entrepreneur currently serving as President of Clearview, he previously led Matterport as CEO from its pre-product stage to a dominant SaaS market position, following senior roles at Motorola Mobility, Reply.com, and Canesta. He holds degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and Wharton, along with an MBA from Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management.
Bob Bryan has been appointed to the Board in 2027. A former professional tennis player widely regarded as one of the greatest doubles competitors in history, he and twin brother Mike held the world No. 1 ranking for 438 weeks, won 23 Grand Slam titles, and were inducted into the ITHF in 2025. A Stanford graduate, Bryan went on to win a Davis Cup title in 2007, Olympic gold in 2012, and retired in 2020 with 126 ATP doubles titles and the only "Golden Bryan Slam" in the sport's history.
Adam Epstein joins the Board in 2027. Founder of Epstein Partners at UBS Private Wealth Management, he leads one of the industry's largest advisory teams, specializing in multigenerational wealth management and nonprofit investment governance, and has earned consistent national recognition from Barron's and Forbes. A Bucknell graduate and former varsity tennis player who remains an active competitor, he also serves on the boards of New Alternatives for Children and The Hun School of Princeton.
Adam Feinstein joins the Board in 2027. He is the Founder & Managing Partner of Vesey Street Capital Partners, a leading healthcare private equity firm. He has 30 years of investment experience in the healthcare sector. He serves on numerous boards – Inceptua, Shemmassian Academic Consulting, ComplexCare Solutions, Orthopedic Solutions Management, AirSculpt Technologies (NASDAQ: AIRS), and GastroMD. He also served on the boards of QualityMetric, Imedex, PathGroup and Surgery Partners (NASDAQ: SGRY). He is a lifelong tennis player and supports tennis organizations via the VSCP Foundation.
Nora McNeely Hurley joins the Board in 2027. President and Chair of the Nora McNeely Hurley Foundation, she leads a global philanthropic program supporting the arts, education, conservation, accessibility, and tennis, with notable projects including the ITHF's Nora McNeely Hurley Foundation Hall of Famers Gallery and USTA Foundation youth scholarships. A lifelong tennis player for whom the sport became vital for vestibular rehabilitation after hearing and balance loss, she is a graduate of UC Santa Barbara.
Amy Hutchings joins the Board in 2027. She is a Managing Director in Evercore’s Financial Sponsors Group, covering private equity clients. She previously practiced as an M&A attorney at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett in New York and Slaughter and May in London, advising clients on mergers and acquisitions and strategic transactions. Amy holds a B.A. in History from King’s College London, a law diploma from BPP Law School, London and an LL.M. from Columbia Law School, where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar.
Jason Keighery joins the Board in 2027. He has served as Managing Partner of US Equity Derivatives for Canaccord Genuity since 2009, having previously worked in Equity Derivatives for GFI Group from 2004 to 2008. A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, he previously served as Vice Chairman of Play Rugby USA.
Sachin Shailendra joins the Board in 2027. He is President of SG Contracting, Inc., where he oversees the company's entire operations, leveraging an extensive construction background to deliver high-quality outcomes and facilitate seamless communication among owners, subcontractors, architects, and designers. A Georgia Tech graduate and active community leader, he serves as Chairman of the Rowen Foundation and holds roles with the Carter Center Board of Councilors, the Rotary Club of Atlanta, the Atlanta Police Foundation, and the Atlanta Speech School.
Frank Speno joins the Board in 2027. He is Partner and Director of Marketing & Client Service at Sanders Capital, LLC in West Palm Beach, Florida, where he has served since January 2010. From 1994 to 2010, he was at Sanford C. Bernstein & Co. and its successor firm AllianceBernstein in senior distribution and product-management roles, including Executive Vice President positions across global consultant relations and retail distribution. Speno earned a master's degree from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and completed the LEAD Program in Corporate Innovation at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Greg Tebbe joins the Board in 2027. A Harvard graduate, he spent 21 years at Goldman Sachs, retiring as a partner in 2007 before returning to his hometown of Santa Barbara to focus on public education, philanthropy, and youth sports. Since then, he has helped establish the Foundation for Santa Barbara High School, led the capital campaign to renovate Peabody Stadium, coached the school's tennis teams since 2008, and served on the boards of the Pacific Forest Trust and the Santa Barbara Tennis Patrons.
Mitch Truwit joins the Board in 2027. He is Co-CEO of Apax in New York, having previously served as President and CEO of Orbitz Worldwide and Executive Vice President and COO of priceline.com, He holds a BA from Vassar College and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Current and previous charitable boards include the Apax Foundation, the John McEnroe Tennis Project, Posse, and StreetSquash.
